探索航程（Discovery Flights）
《微软飞行模拟》包含许多世界知名景点，想象一下，越过冷冽高空前往世界之巅珠穆朗玛峰、炙热艳阳下寻找胡夫金字塔，或在辽阔的太平洋寻找「珍珠」波拉波拉岛，或是在霓虹闪烁的夜晚寻找那颗大苹果「纽约市」。
别忘了，最后再来个低空飞过中央公园，没体力跑一圈，我开飞机绕一圈总可以了吧！
想去其他地方？ 《微软模拟飞行》收录十数个场景，包括意大利拿坡里、巴西里约热内卢、东京市区、富士山、旧金山金门大桥、优胜美地国家公园、英国伦敦、法国巴黎等。
世界探索功能的改进（World Exploration Improvements）
微软强化了 Xbox Series X|S 版的世界探索体验，包括卫星图像、地图标签与飞行航程途中启动的 POI 标签，有助于更快速了解城市建筑、机场、山脉与其他地标的相对位置。
飞行训练（Flight Training）
Xbox Series X|S 版进一步优化了 Windows 10 版的飞行训练内容，细分了共 22 个培训航程，从基本操作、着陆、起飞、VFR 目视飞行导航训练到操作 Airbus 320neo 客机起降。
教学全程透过文字、语音引导，以及全新的绩效评估系统，让玩家轻松掌握学习进度，更容易改善自己的飞行技巧，扎实累积飞行经验。

飞行辅助和 AI 支持（Flight Assistance）
全新的飞行辅助工具，在飞行过程中提供多项辅助，如 AI 自动驾驶、自动降落、自动启动飞机与微调，预防进入失速状态等，或选择并设定邻近的兴趣点、机场，成为目的地以获得方向指示。
中长途的飞行途中，不再需要繁琐启动飞机、后推、滚行爬升、微调配平以及设定自动驾驶细项，几个简单设定与按键做完，让你立刻起飞。
随时随地着陆（Land Anywhere）
想到处随时降落爬爬走？ 本次更新除了初始的 Icon A5 水陆两用小飞机，另外多了 4 架可自由选择浮筒、滑雪板和「大轮胎」功能的水陆两用飞机。
想要更有挑战性？ Xbox Serise X|S 版新增了 Screen Narrator（屏幕说明）、高难度降落挑战，以及多变化的 Bush Trip。
透过按压左模拟摇杆叫出光标，搭配右模拟摇杆移动视角，飞机仪表的按钮、油门杆、起落架开关等操作不再难以使用，搭配屏幕解说功能等互动辅助，就算是只有十来个按键的 Xbox 摇杆也能顺利驾驶。
