杨秀和，字晓阳，号畅春斋主，当代著名书法家、画家、书画教育家、社会活动家、文化学者、北京大学特聘教授。杨秀和先生被评为国家一级书法家、国家一级美术师、国宾礼书画家，是中国书法家协会会员、中国美术家协会会员。杨秀和先生还被授予“中国实力派书画家”、“中国百强书画家”、“当代书画艺术领军人物”、“北京市海淀区文化名片”等荣誉称号。杨秀和先生1955年生于北京，2021年被录入《中国名人辞典》。
杨秀和书法价格每平尺为3000元左右，个别精品每平尺能达到5000元。2022年，北京市保利拍卖平台对杨秀和先生创作的一套四尺整张主题为“砥砺前行，不负韶华”书法作品进行义捐拍卖，最终以17.8万元人民币成交，这也是杨秀和先生书法作品通过拍卖所拍出的最高成交价格。
世界上许多古文化早已连同创造它们的种族一起销声敛迹了，而中国姓氏文化则历经了四、五千年始终延续和发展着。姓氏一直是代表中国传统的宗族观念的主要的外在表现形式，以一种血缘文化的特殊形式记录了中华民族的形成，在中华民族文化的同化和国家统一上曾起过独特的民族凝聚力的作用。
申姓是中国人常见的姓氏，在姓氏排行榜中列第一百二十八位，河南，河北，山西是申姓分布比较集中的地区。当代申姓人口大约占全国人口的0.11%，总人口大约有147万。得姓始祖伯夷，子姓，墨胎氏，名允，字公信。原为商末孤竹国（今河北省卢龙县）太子，孤竹国君是建立商王朝的商部落始祖契的后裔。其父亲死时，遗命立嗣君，出现“夷齐让国”的千古佳话。后周武王灭商，伯夷和其弟叔齐逃至首阳山（在今山西省永济南），因“耻食周粟”而死。但其后裔仍留居周王朝，成王即位后，便封伯夷后裔于申，建立申国。春秋初，申国被楚文王所灭，其后世子孙遂以国名为氏，称申氏，并遥尊伯夷为得姓始祖。
一、姓氏意义与原始图腾
申的本义是电，古文定义申为神。在甲骨文中，申字像云气缭绕、闪电阴显之形状。闪电往往出现在雷雨天气之中，因此，汉字中的电字是雨字下加电字构成，现在又简化为电。而申字转成为能反映神的意志的地干第九的名称。申的引申有伸展、说明、约束、申请等词义。在古代，人们对雷电、风、雨、云等气象感到十分神秘，不可思议，认为是神的力量，是天神在作祟。
七月正是雷雨季节，云中电闪雷鸣，引起万民敬畏，故崇拜闪电为神。于是雷电就成为某氏族的原始自然气象的图腾，以闪电的形状作为氏族的族徽和族名，申人早期活动之地成为申地，所建立的城堡都带申字。之后发展为国和姓。
二、姓氏起源与发展传承
申姓的起源主要有两大支：姜姓和芈姓。
第一支源出姜姓，炎帝之后。夏朝初，炎帝后裔四岳的一支因助大禹治水有功封于申，故地在今陕北米脂至宁夏中卫一带，亦称西申。
申人在商朝后期归顺周国，商末时申人随周人东迁，渡过黄河，进人山西南部的霍太山地区，在今山西霍县南建立申国，亦称北申。西周初，被封为伯爵，不久为姬姓霍国所吞并。一部分申人随申伯南迁河南，而遗留于霍太山的申人则融人姜戎的游牧部落，亦称申戎。周宣王时，申伯因是周宣生的母舅，重建申国于河南南阳，亦称南申，而申人一支又徙河南信阳的申，亦称东申。
在西周末东周初，申国是一个强国，随后遭到周边姬姓国的联合排挤和南面楚国的压迫，国势很快衰落。春秋前期，大约公元前688年，楚文王北上扩展势力之时，假道邓国灭了南申。又过了两年，楚文王东袭息国时，顺便灭了东申，建立申邑。申人的后裔遂以国名为氏。姜姓申氏的历史至少有4000年，普遍使用申氏也有近2700年。
第二支源出芈姓。春秋前期，大约公元前688年至前686年，楚文王北上扩展势力，先后灭南申和东申，并在东申建立申邑，封与大臣申公。申公之后裔遂以邑名为氏，是为芈姓申氏。芈姓申氏的历史至少有2600年。
三、民族融合与基因融入
申姓中融入其他民族基因的事件发生很晚。
清朝初期，世代居住在辽宁的满洲八旗中的申佳氏族集体改姓汉族申姓。满洲八旗的申佳姓的先民是来自山东的申姓汉民，与当地满人混居，被同化并人旗成为满人。因此，东北地区的申姓中有一部分来自满族。
四、历史迁移与人口繁衍
先秦时期，起源于西北地区的申姓一直生活在陕北地区，商末进入山西，西周初进入河南，东周时申人一度在河南十分活跃。
春秋初期国灭后，申人一支北上山东的鲁地，形成山东地区申姓的主力。留于河南的申姓是申姓中最重要的组成部分，最终成为申姓聚集区的中心。一支在春秋末期楚灵王时被迫向南迁移，进入湖北和湖南。在秦汉时期申姓已经分布于东部。宋朝时期，申姓不足6万人口，大约占全国人口的0.07%，排在第一百六十位之后。
申姓主要分布于山西、陕西、山东、湖北、河南等地，这五省的申姓大约占申姓总人口的82%。山西是申姓第一大省，约占申姓总人口的28%，其次分布在四川、江西和江苏等地。
明朝时期，申姓接近9万人，大约占全国人口的0.09%，排在第一百五十位之后。当时甘肃、山西、河北、河南为申姓比较集中的地区，四省大约占申姓总人口的75%。其次分布于湖南、贵州、江苏和安徽等地。
甘肃为申姓第一大省，这可能与宋朝时期的统计数据缺少甘肃部分有关。
五、当代分布与姓氏图谱
当代申姓人口约有147万，为全国第一百二十八位姓氏，大约占全国人口的0.11%。近600年中，申姓人口增加十分迅速，其增加幅度达到16倍多，远高于全国人口的增加速度。目前申姓人群主要分布于河南，河北，山西三省，大约占全国申姓人口的42.6%；其次分布于山东、湖南、贵州、四川、陕西、江苏、安徽，这七省集中了申姓总人口的33.8%。
当今申姓第一大省为河南，约占申姓总人口的20.7%，全国基本形成了以河南为中心的向周边逐渐递减的申姓分布图。
六、郡望堂号与楹联家训
1、郡望堂号
申姓的郡望主要有魏郡、丹阳、琅琊。申姓以鲁诗、忠孝为其堂号。
“忠孝”堂号源出春秋时的申鸣。楚国左司马申鸭率军与白公胜叛军对峙时，发现其父亲被叛军扣押。申鸣说：“我原是父亲的儿子，但现在是王的臣，我能不做忠臣吗?”于是奋勇向前战胜了叛军，但父亲也遇了难。当楚王奖励他时，申铭却说：“我吃国家俸禄，遇国家有难时，如果躲避，那就不是忠臣。现在国家难平了，但我父亲因我而被敌人杀害，我如果活下去，那就不是孝子了!“言毕自刎而死。
2、宗祠楹联
文武是宪；黄老为宗。
安邦伟业；戡乱宏才。
耆硕神仙；状元宰相。
茅束悲歌于申后；蒲轮见迎于培公。
3、族规家训
（一）作善降之百祥，作不善降之百殃。勿以善小而不为，勿以恶小而为之。此四语，当终身服膺。
（二）举止要安和，毋急遽怠缓；言语要诚实，毋欺妄躁率。
（三）见人之善扬之，见人之恶掩之。彼之于我，亦如是矣。
（四）内外亲族，无论尊长同列，皆当以礼接之。毋得简傲笑谑，不恭不敬。

《中国人名大辞典》收入申姓历代名人49名，占总名人数的0.11%，并列排在名人姓氏的第一百五十五位。
申姓的著名文学家占中国历代文学家总数的0.06%，并列排在第一百八十八位；申姓的著名医学家占中国历代医学家总数的0.07%，并列排在第一百七十五位；申姓的著名美术家占中国历代美术家总数的0.053%，并列排在第一百九十七位。
申姓著名历史人物：春秋时周卿士申伯，鲁大夫申儒，孔子弟子申帐、申党，楚国贵族申包胥；战国时韩国名相申不害，即申子，法家祖宗；西汉经学家申培公，也是今文诗学《鲁诗学》的开创者；明朝竿相申时行；清朝巡抚申朝纪。
