电脑游戏英语怎么说读

近日，周杰伦新歌《最伟大的作品》发布，MV中有周杰伦和郎朗斗琴的桥段，有网友把俩人截图拼了起来，变成一张斗琴图。

图片中，两人一个严肃，一个凌乱，莫名喜感，随后，网友@躺倒鸭绘制了一对头像。其中郎朗的头像，不能说像吧，只能说一模一样！

令网友没有想到的是，郎朗微博居然真的换上了@躺倒鸭绘制的头像！可爱又生动！

不得不说，郎朗真是在8G冲浪前线啊！

在社交平台上，头像、昵称的选用很大程度上影响和重塑了人们在社交网络中的形象。那么，“头像”“昵称”等该如何用英语表达呢？

头像

Profile photo/picture, pfp

如果把“头像”这个词直译成head photo或head picture，人家可能会以为你在说关于头部的特写。

使用微信英文版的同学会发现，微信里面是用“profile photo”这个表达来表示“头像”。

因此，头像更准确的表达是：profile photo / picture，缩写是pfp。

Profile photo / picture多指个人的形象照片，所以这个头像大多用的会是“本人照片”。

那么如果用风景、小动物、手绘图等作为头像，又该怎么表示呢？

英语里面还有另外一个词：Avatar。

这不是阿凡达吗！

但这个单词在牛津词典中有一条解释就是：

A picture of a person or an animal that represents a particular computer user, on a computer screen, especially in a computer game or on social media.

社交媒体或电脑游戏中代表一个用户的人物/动物图片

所以这个单词更加贴合“头像”的含义。

你是什么样的人，陌生人从你的头像中可以或多或少地得到一些线索。

昵称

Screen name / nickname

很少有人用真实姓名作为网名，因为网络上的交流都要通过屏幕，所以网名可是说是screen name。

网名也可以称作“昵称”，nickname。

例句：

May I have your screen name？

我能知道你的网名吗？
