苹果公司似乎正在对其Mac便携式产品系列的称呼进行品牌变更。据9to5Mac报道，大约从上周起，苹果美国官网开始陆续将所有文案中的「笔记本电脑」一词从「Notebook」改为「Laptop」。
苹果变更的范围包括在线商店产品页面、产品支持知识库中的文章等。而「Laptop」也是大多数 PC 厂商描述笔记本产品的用词。不过苹果公司没有正式承认这一措辞选择的变化。
此外，除了官网变更外，即将正式发布的 macOS Ventura 也发生了类似调整，开机设置的默认设备名不再是「某人的 MacBook Air(或 Pro)」，而是「某人的笔记本电脑」。
