智通财经APP获悉，近日，诺和诺德(NVO.US)与加拿大公司Aspect Biosystems签署了一项授权协议，将开发生物打印组织疗法，以替代、修复或补充体内的生物功能，从而为糖尿病和肥胖症提供一类新的药物。Aspect将获得7500万美元的首付款，包括预付款、研究经费和可转换债券形式的投资。
根据协议，诺和诺德将获得全球独家授权，使用Aspect的生物打印技术开发多达四种治疗糖尿病和/或肥胖的产品。

该团队最初将专注于开发生物打印组织疗法，以维持正常的血糖水平，而不需要免疫抑制，这可能是1型糖尿病患者的变革性治疗方法。
诺和诺德细胞治疗研发副总裁Jacob Petersen表示:“与Aspect Biosystems的合作为我们开发综合细胞治疗产品的战略增添了重要的组成部分。”
