IT之家 1 月 4 日消息，谷歌在推出 1 月的安全更新同时，还为 Pixel 6/7 系列机型推出了 1 月的 Pixel Feature Drop，为符合条件的耳机提供空间音频支持。
空间音频由苹果的 AirPods Pro 推广开来，主要是模拟多扬声器环绕声环境。谷歌在过去几个月以来一直致力于开发该功能，早在去年 9 月发布的 Android 13 QPR1 beta 就引入了相关代码。该功能曾短暂在稳定版中上线，但谷歌随后又撤回了。
IT之家了解到，目前享受到这项功能的机型并不多，只有 Pixel 6、Pixel 6 Pro（暂不支持 Pixel 6a），以及 Pixel 7 和 Pixel 7 Pro 四款机型。
Esper.io 的 Android 专家 Mishaal Rahman 首先发现了这一变化，它为 Android 带来了一个新的 Spatializer API，耳机可以利用它来创造更强大的声场。虽然看起来支持许多耳塞和耳机，但当然，谷歌自己的 Pixel Buds Pro 将（最终）提供最佳体验。
