IT之家 11 月 10 日消息，3DMark 是目前主流的 GPU 基准跑分测试工具，其中 FireStrike 主要测试 DirectX 11 场景，而 TimeSpy 主要测试 DirectX 12 场景。
3DMark 为了庆祝 25 周年，将会推出名为 Steel Nomad 的新主打基准测试项目，并将会取代 TimeSpy。
本次发布正好赶上英伟达明年年初推出的全新 GeForce RTX 40 系列 SUPER 显卡。
3DMark 官方表示，Steel Nomad 是可以在多个平台、API 和操作系统上运行。
在 Windows 平台上，Steel Nomad 将使用最新的 DirectX 12 API；在 macOS 平台上，它将使用 Metal；而对于 Android 和 Linux 系统，它将使用 Vulkan。
对于不同的 API 和系统，预期结果是分开的，但这尚未得到证实。
根据新的 Steel Nomad 基准测试早期屏幕截图，结合了未来派蒸汽朋克幻想与西方氛围，预估会进一步压榨和发挥 GPU 性能。IT之家在此附上图片如下：
3DMark 官方并未公布 Steel Nomad 的上线日期，预估将会和新版 3DMark 套件一起发布。
