隐于珠江三角洲区域的从化市，向来是都市休闲度假的热门目的地。
菁木山舍度假民宿位于从化上罗村，地处双凤山脉，双凤山高耸入云，常年云雾萦绕，全家抽些时间，来这里放空一下。
菁舍曾是广州八十五中的分校旧址，客房就在原有课室的基础上改造而成。屋顶保留了传统的三角形梁架结构，以原木为主的家具陈设极简，调和了旧物的凝重气氛。
从航拍鸟瞰菁舍，菁舍保留传统的瓦房结构，不像民宿，反倒像一片村落，整个菁舍置身于一片森林之中，周边树木环绕，空气清新怡人。
进入菁舍的前门，便是一处拍摄文艺青年照的绝佳场所。
门前的小溪水、庭院内的圆形泡池+无边大泡池，一处安然纯净的地方，会让紧绷的心弦满满放松。
6~8月是岭南佳果黄皮、荔枝和龙眼成熟的季节，入驻的客户和来学艺的同学可以大饱口福。
菁舍的大部分家具均是由自己的木工房制作,很适合在这呆上一两天跟木工老师打造自己的一件木工作品。

菁舍内，娱乐设施丰富齐全。有木制儿童木马、泡池、秋千，孩子们可尽情玩耍。
摇椅、烧烤台、花园、书吧、客厅沙发区，大人们可放松自我，悠闲度假。
团建：会议服务/泡池Party
利用原有课室改造的会议室，中央空调，投影，麦克风一应俱全。课室还留着当年标语，满满的怀旧风，最多约容纳30-40人。
还可来一场烤全羊篝火晚会，团建必备。
乐：木工创作
木工，是一项传统手艺，让团队享受创作愉悦，专注也是最好的放空。互相协作，手艺的交流，让团队多一个共同话题，合作更默契。
所有管家都拥有或深或浅的木工手艺，那群一空下来就会跑向木工房埋头创作的人，可以把一个个固执坚挺的木头变成千奇百怪。
闲：公共庭院
菁舍有多个公共庭院，两个户外平台，闲时品茶，畅聊人生。另外，每个房间都配有精致茶具。还可放空身心来一场元气瑜伽。
休息时分，菁舍会呈上当季水果和农家点心,享受悠闲的下午茶时光。
游：后山徒步溯溪捞鱼、采摘时蔬
夏季观萤火虫，秋季游柿子林
菁舍后山，有一条环山公路,可漫步其中，呼吸新鲜空气，放松身心。观日落星辰，民宿附近的心形树洞，常有信男善女去祈祷生个姑娘或胖小子，据说非常灵验。古树还愿。
菁舍前面的小桥边有小河，河的上游约50米（背对菁舍，左手边)有块河心石，可一路戏水拍照。还可在溪边捞鱼抓虾，一享自然之乐。
春夏之交，4月~9月，晚上7点后，河边会有很多莹火虫在飞，放眼望去，同时起码会看到十几个在飞舞。
菁舍的小院子里种有四季蔬菜瓜果，秋天的柿子、冬天的莴笋，春夏之交的杨梅荔枝，还有夏天的龙眼桃子。一年四季，总是一派生机盎然。10月，距离民宿2公里左右的柿子林，柿子成熟，上罗村满目金黄。亲自动手采摘，满满都是丰收的喜悦。
周边游玩推荐
从化温泉，有“岭南第一泉”的美誉。流溪河国家森林公园，更有“第二庐山”之称。
菁舍周边半小时生活圈有从化温泉旅游区，可享世界唯二的含氡苏打温泉，一洗身上疲惫。
更有占地1000亩的玫瑰世界，情侣们可沉浸在爱情之花的海洋里，浪漫甜蜜。
菁舍周边，藏有很多特色美味的农家菜。农家走地鸡，选取农家自养的土鸡，烹饪而成，肉质鲜美，肥而不腻。一口咬下去，满满的汁香肉嫩，令人食指大动。
焖鹅，属粤菜，向来讲究色香味俱全。选取肉肥质嫩的新鲜土鹅，烧制而成。出锅时，不见鹅肉，已闻到了鹅香，会让你抛下矜持大快朵颐。
山坑鱼，是从化特色美食。村民每天从小溪捕捞鱼仔，未经污染的水质，养出的鱼也鲜嫩滑美。尝过一口，便再也停不住下筷的手。
