黄庭坚行楷书《发愿文卷》纸本33×679cm，元丰七年（1084） ，台北故宫博物院藏（兰千山馆寄存）

黄庭坚早年楷书主要取法颜字，此帖用笔中锋直落，逆入平出，无明显提按动作，只有个别长横提按对比明显一些，显示出用笔清劲的特点，虽然比较放纵，但其中结字宽绰、笔画首尾提按分明等特点，清楚流露出颜字的根底。唯笔画中截虚弱，显得纤弱无力，其中“戈”钩、弯钩尤甚，且用墨干枯。黄庭坚书风成熟后的那种过分强调用笔提按的习气，在《发愿文》中则基本上还没有看到。结体平正，中宫疏朗，字字独立，显得呆板而缺乏内在的有机联系，整幅作品显得稚嫩朴拙。 

释文：

菩萨狮子王，白净法为身，

胜义空谷中，奋迅及哮吼。

念弓明利箭，被以慈哀甲，

忍力不动摇，直破魔王军。

三昧常娱乐，甘露为美食，

解脱味为浆，游戏于三乘，

安住一切智，转无上法轮。

我今称扬，称性实语，

以身口意，筹量观察，

如实忏悔，我从昔来，

因痴有爱，饮酒食肉，

增长爱渴，入邪见林，

不得解脱。今者对佛，

发大誓愿：

愿从今日尽未来世，不复淫欲；

愿从今日尽未来世，不复饮酒；

愿从今日尽未来世，不复食肉。

设复淫欲，当堕地狱，住火坑中，经无量劫；

一切众生，为淫乱故，应受苦报，我皆代受。

设复饮酒，当堕地狱，饮洋铜汁，经无量劫；

一切众生，为酒颠倒，应受苦报，我皆代受。

设复食肉，当堕地狱，吞热铁丸，经无量劫；

一切众生，为杀生故，应受苦报，我皆代受。

恭惟十身洞彻，万德庄严。于刹刹尘尘，为我作证设经，歌罗逻身，忘失本愿。唯垂加被，开我迷云，稽首如空，等一痛切。（愿我以此，尽未来际，忍可誓愿，根尘清净，具足十忍，不由它教，入一切智——“恭惟”字上轶此七句）
