在艺考改革以前，石膏像在联考考题中甚少出现，虽然许多省份的联考考试范围中都有石膏像，但实际上考头像的可能性更大。

但在2024年全面改革后，这种相对稳定的联考考题可能会被打破。以浙江美术联考为例，今年的联考素描范围，取消了往年中仅限于伏尔泰、阿格里巴、海盗、小卫这四种石膏，这很可能说明联考素描考题出现石膏的概率会更高，而且种类更多变。

2023年浙江联考素描考试范围

石膏像写生（限于伏尔泰、阿格里巴、海盗、小卫）、静物写生或默写、人像写生或默写。

2024年浙江联考素描考试范围

人物头像、石膏像、静物。
