修复工作缓慢进行，似乎有一点成就，但是这种成就对于这么大的飞机来说，不起任何作用。

为了将尾翼安装到位，需要有合适的螺栓和螺母，能够承受载荷。 在图库的第一张照片中，展示了所有保存完好的尾翼紧固件。 其余部分需要找到或重新制造。 在帕维尔的指导下，阿列克谢测量了所有紧固孔，以了解每个螺栓的位置以及还缺少多少个。 2022 年夏天，叶戈尔完成了这项工作。

2020 年春天，他们开始制作起落架侧支架。 他们于次年秋天完成。 一年后，该团队用伊利亚·马科维茨基捐赠的大型角磨机，为起落架主支架制作了一个大型工字钢支架。 航空工程师叶戈尔·弗尔斯计算了负载，绘制了图纸并开始制造支架。

2020 年秋天，里纳特开始记录机身穿孔的缺陷清单。 其中一些由帕维尔·马克西莫夫修复。 2021 年底，通过捐款购买了两张 D16AT 牌号的铝合金板，并在科罗廖夫青年技术之家切割成碎片。 补丁预涂土，并在安装前涂上密封胶。 谢尔盖·瓦休金捐赠了一套凹痕修复工具。

2022 年春天，起落架前支架护板被拆除，以修复其上多处的腐蚀。 支架的紧固件已经完全生锈，很难拆卸。 但谢尔盖·兹韦列夫成功地做到了。

机库里意外发现了起落架前支架的舱门和左侧机身舱门。

早在2019年春天，前两个车轮就已经从维修中返回。同年5月，新的橡胶轮胎被安装在车轮上。然而，其中一个车轴缺少一个螺母，这个螺母用于防止车轮从车轴上滑落。2021年，阿列克谢·塞库申和阿尔乔姆·鲍里森科制作了两个新的螺母、环和固定器，以及四个密封圈。所有零件都经过镀锌处理，并且还购买了缺少的轴承。2022年，阿尔乔姆使用3D打印机打印了密封套管，而维卡用毡子切割了防尘罩。

2019年秋天，飞机开始为再次起飞进行准备，以便进行起落架维修。为此，在机身下方用枕木搭建了两个结构，并在其上安装了液压升降机。另一台液压升降机安装在机头。飞机升起后，在主起落架下方放置了枕木平台。2020年1月，前起落架也被安装在类似的平台上。右侧支架下方放置了一个木板平台。

2022年夏天，起落架修复工作的最后阶段终于开始了。首先，修复后的刹车盘被运送到飞机上并安装到位。之后，安装了清洁和润滑后的轴承。然后，安装了两台修复后的车轮，并配备了新的轮胎。所有部件都用新制造的螺母固定。最后，使用小型液压升降机拆下了另外两个车轮和刹车鼓，并送往“红宝石”工厂进行修复。

修复后的刹车鼓和车轮安装完毕。

10月12日，修复后的车轮和刹车回到了博物馆，并被安装在了飞机上。至此，历时13年的VVA-14主起落架车轮修复工作于2022年深秋终于完成。车轮被修复到“出厂新”状态，飞机可以移动了。

遗憾的是，一个月后，馆方管理层禁止所有志愿者团队在博物馆继续工作，直到有第三方法人承担起在义务劳动中遵守安全技术规范的责任。因此，标题中提出的问题仍然悬而未决。36年来，国家始终没有找到足够的动力来修复这架独特的历史飞机，因此必须尽快解决允许志愿者在此地工作的问题。

截至目前，对VVA-14进行的最后工作是为机头盖上新的帆布罩，以及清除机身和尾翼上的积雪。

许多人可能会问，为什么VVA-14在经历了13年的修复工作后，外观几乎没有变化？毕竟，其他由志愿者修复的展品都发生了显著的变化。

答案是，其他展品的修复工作是在一定程度上牺牲了VVA-14的修复工作进行的。毕竟，志愿者团队的力量是有限的。VVA-14修复项目的发起人帕维尔·普罗科尼娅是该项目的核心人物。他负责所有展品的搬运、组装和拆卸、车轮修理、车辆运输、地面设备等等。

此外，帕维尔一开始就为VVA-14的修复设定了非常高的标准，即一切都要“按科学”进行。如果需要轮胎，就必须是新的；如果需要紧固件，就必须是“原装”的航空紧固件。这一点在车轮修复过程中体现得尤为明显。

当然，一切都可以做得更快、更简单。例如，在修复伊尔-18时，锈死的刹车被简单拆卸并放在了行李舱里，飞机就这样没有刹车了。当修复米格-23МЛД的机轮时，需要更换橡胶密封圈。当时手头没有新的密封圈，所以只好从橡胶绳上切了一段，用建筑密封胶在周边涂抹。这种方法虽然奏效，但密封效果不会持久。而VVA-14的车轮在未来几十年里都会保持良好的状态（当然，前提是不要故意损坏）。

总而言之，目前VVA-14修复工作中最艰苦、最肮脏但也最必要的部分已经完成。

最后，一个你可能不知道的有趣事实。

文章开头我提到，VVA-14两栖飞机有两个原型，分别编号为“1M”和“2M”。文章主要讲述了“1M”的命运，那么“2M”去了哪里呢？

在VVA-14项目被取消后，“1M”被送回车间改造成14M1P实验平台，而已经组装好的“2M”机身则被遗弃在工厂的偏僻角落。它在那里被遗忘并一直闲置到2000年。当325 ARZ航空技术馆请求TANTK将其移交时，这架独特的飞机竟然被立即拆解成废金属。
