3月10日，贝达药业发布公告称收到国家药品监督管理局（以下简称“NMPA”）签发的《药物临床试验批准通知书》，公司申报的BPB-101双抗注射液药物临床试验已获得NMPA批准开展。
BPB-101双抗注射液是由贝达药业自主研发的第一款全新的、拥有完全自主知识产权的潜在First-in-class（FIC）大分子新药，是具有三功能的双特异性IgG1亚型人源化抗体。本品拟用于晚期实体瘤患者的治疗。
临床前研究显示，BPB-101可以特异性靶向GARP-TGF-β复合体、成熟的TGF-β以及PD-L1，进而解除肿瘤微环境TGF-β信号轴和PD-1/PD-L1信号轴的双重免疫抑制，恢复并增强免疫细胞对肿瘤的杀伤效应功能，从而抑制肿瘤的生长和存活。该治疗性双特异性抗体已通过充分的临床前研究和安全性评估，并展现出了优秀的体内外药效活性，良好的药代动力学及安全性特征。
公告显示，BPB-101是和现有的PD-（L）1/TGF-β（R）类或GARP抗体类不同的药物分子。截至本日，未在国内外有类似分子报道或上市，属于“境内外均未上市的创新药”，其注册分类为治疗用生物制品1类。
