7月8日，记者获悉，阿里达摩院开拓新型量子比特平台的研究，在全球物理学顶刊《Physical Review Letters》最新第129期上发表，并被选为“编辑推荐”文章。该期刊评议认为，达摩院成果在新型比特fluxonium的单一系统中实现了与主流transmon量子比特可相匹敌的高精度，可视为该领域一里程碑，也必将激发未来更多fluxonium及其他超导量子平台的研究创新。

《Physical Review Letters》（PRL，物理评论快报）是美国物理协会的旗舰刊物，是世界物理学界公认的权威学术期刊，致力于传播基础及前沿交叉物理学领域中最有影响力和变革性的思想，并以强调服务研究者和论文作者而不同于商业性学术杂志。

实现容错量子计算是大规模通用数字量子计算的基石。满足容错量子计算对量子操控的高精度要求，是对包括主流超导量子比特transmon在内的所有硬件平台的一大核心挑战。而fluxonium比特因具备更大的“非谐性”及相干时间长等优点，原理上有超越transmon的优势，故而为全球多个顶尖学术团队积极开拓的方向。此前，美国马里兰大学研究团队基于fluxonium平台录得两比特门操控99.2%的最高精度值。

此次以PRL“编辑推荐”发表的达摩院成果，将两比特门操控精度大幅提升至99.72%，并在单一系统中鲁棒和高精度地实现了复位、读/写、单比特门等其他容错量子计算所需的基本操作。这些结果显示fluxonium的理论优势可转化到产业实践，也反应了达摩院量子实验室在理论、设计、仿真、材料、制备和控制等多个课题的系统性深入研究。

据悉，量子计算是阿里重点布局的前沿战略技术。达摩院量子实验室负责人施尧耘表示，此项成果标志着实验室进入一个新的阶段，“未来，我们将深耕‘以fluxonium为平台的可规模化高精度’，以差异化的创新路径，探索容错量子计算的核心技术。”
